About us.

We are a team that believes in not just seeing a problem but being apart of the solution in whatever way we can. We are dedicated to seeing change!

Lift CDC is a local non profit organization that provides housing options and essential life skills training, for youth aging out of the foster care system. We assist with connecting them with mentors to empower their journey toward independence. Our program supports those new to independent living who need minimal supervision but benefit from accountability. Through a shared housing program, it reduces living costs, making housing more affordable and achievable, positioning them for better outcomes as they learn independent living skills and we assist them in identifying and pursuing their goals.

At Lift, the participants are provided opportunities to engage in activities to prepare for a successful transition into adulthood and give them tools to help overcome some of life’s challenges.

Lift homes are in residential neighborhoods near public transportation to support ease of access to travel for school, employment and personal affairs. Each home is fully furnished, set up as dorm style living. We have on site laundry for most locations, Wi-Fi, and transportation assistance for (church functions, work, school, grocery runs, medical appointments, and volunteering in the community)

WHO WE ARE.

WE CAN’T DO IT WITHOUT YOUR SUPPORT.
